The 17th Meeting of the International Semiconductor Lighting Alliance (ISA) Standardization Technical Committee (TCS17) was held on May 25, 2020 via Zoom platform in the form of a web conference. The meeting was moderated by Mr. Andreas Scholtz, chairman of ISA TCS, Chairman of IEC TC34 and osram standardization Leader. The conference is mainly divided into the following three parts:
01 Latest international recommendation standards released
Dr. Yang He, head of the TCS Secretariat and ISA Deputy Secretary General, reported on the work of ISA TCS in the past six months. And announced the "Prediction for Color Maintenance of LEDs Based on A Spectral Power Distribution Decomposition Method (Prediction of LED color preservation based on spectral power distribution decomposition Method) and "General Technical Specification of LED Luminaires for Horticultural science" Lighting (General Technical Specification for LED Lighting for horticultural Lighting). (The two projects were initiated in 2015 and reported, discussed and revised by ISA TCS meetings of China, Russia, India, South Africa, Vietnam and Malaysia for seeking common ground while reserving differences.)
The votes for both standards were approved and TCS President Andreas Scholtz approved the publication of the two international recommended standards, which will be published by the TCS secretariat after the meeting.

02 Receive progress reports from 8 working groups
(1) ISA TCS Working Group 9 (WG9) : Prof. Pan Jinming from Zhejiang University gave a report on the latest work progress of "Research in LED Lighting for Poultry Farm Application".
(ii) ISA TCS Working Group X (WG10) : Dr. Huang Feng of Xinlofei Investment Co., LTD gave a Report on the latest work progress of "Technical Report of Control Protocols for LED Smart Home Lighting".
(iii) ISA TCS Working Group 14 (WG14) : Dr. Huang Feng from Xinofi (China) Investment Co., LTD responded to "Technical Report of Lighting System Architecture and Standard "Overview (lighting system architecture and standards Overview of the technical report) the latest work progress was reported.
(iv) ISA TCS Working Group 15 (WG15) : LED Lighting System for Classrooms - Product Requirements and Testing Ms. Wen Rongrong, Visual Health and Safety Laboratory, China National Standardization Institute (CNIS The latest progress of Methods (LED Lighting systems for classrooms: Product requirements and test Methods) is reported.

(v) ISA TCS Working Group 17 (WG17) : Ms Huang Zexi, Zhuming Technology Co., LTD., responded to the Requirements for on-site Assembly and Commissioning of Multifunctional Street Lamp Functional The latest work progress of Modules (field assembly and debugging requirements of multi-functional street lamp functional module) is reported.
(vi) ISA TCS Working Group 18 (WG18) : Mr. Chen Weidong from Anhui Longvolt Energy Co., LTD reported the latest work progress of "Technical Specifications for Solar Street Light with Lithium Battery".
(vii) ISA TCS Working Group 19 (WG19) : Dr. Li Benliang, Dongguan Quality Supervision and Testing Center, Guangdong Province, gave a report on the latest work progress of "Technical Requirement for LED Fish Gathering Lamp of Fishing Vessels".
(viii) ISA TCS Working Group XX (WG20) : Dr. Yang Hua, Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave a Report on "Technical Report on Terms Definition and Related Issues of sun-like LED".
The participants entered the working group.

03 Other business and next meeting
At the closing stage of the meeting, the chairman welcomed the representatives from South Africa, Russia, Belarus, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brazil standards and industry organizations and hoped that the Secretariat would make arrangements as far as possible for these countries' requests to participate in the ISA TCS working group.
The chairman hoped that the disputing parties would make full use of the intermeeting time to find opportunities for communication and consultation on the contentious issues.
In addition, the chairman believes that "deep ULTRAVIOLET LED based water purification technology" is a hot topic at present, and suggests member units to put forward relevant new proposals to TCS.
Finally, the Chairman announced that the format and venue of the next meeting (TCS18) would be determined by the development of the epidemic and the specific arrangements would be communicated to all TCS members in writing.
